UNIPRO FOCALIZING ON CAREER GUIDANCE AND SCHOLARSHIPS AWARENESS

Even after the board exams get over, the nervousness and the anxiety of the students does not end; rather the pressure manifolds as the date of admissions comes closer. After getting certification from the boards for class X or XII, the first thought that strikes our head is to become either an engineer or a doctor or an accountant. However, today, sky is the limit; there are lot many options that have grown in leaps and bounds for the class X and XII pass outs, in which they can pursue their graduation.

On the other hand, in spite of education being a service for the community, many educational institutions transformed it as a great business today. Due to these facts and lack of awareness of scholarship schemes available for higher education, many parents are discontinuing their children’s education perceiving finance as a barrier by themselves.

Thus, UNIPRO decided to focalize on the above two aspects and conducted CAREER GUIDANCE AND SCHOLARSHIP AWARENESS program at UNITY PUBLIC SCHOOL in Chennai on 7th May,2016. The event started with an overview of IIT/NIT educational institutions and then importance of GATE and JEE exams by Mr. Javed Ashraf, followed by valuable guidance on Scholarship schemes for Higher Education by Mr. Y. Mohamed Rabik, Assistant professor of AMS engineering college.

Mr. Ameen-e-Mudassar, Chief career counsellor of CIGMA foundation shattered the people thought of two-way career (Doctor and Engineer) and explored various career opportunities in various fields like Architecture, Literature, Law, Humanity, History, Medicine, Engineering, etc in his interactive session with audiences.

Alhamdulillah!! All praise and gratitude to Allah. By his mercy, the event received overwhelming responses and positive feedbacks from audiences.
